    • about moodle

Moodle is what is known as a Virtual Learning Environment. Basically it’s a website that let’s you access course materials, helps with your studies and lets you submit assignments. Once you get a Moodle account you will be able to send messages to your friends and teachers, start discussions in your course, vote for things, submit questionnaires and a whole lot more.

Moodle GlobeMoodle works in a similar way to some of the big websites such as Facebook. You can upload your picture and fill in your user profile.

When your enrolled onto courses at school they will appear on your MyMoodle page. Your teacher will put some useful materials on here to help with your studies.

All pretty exciting stuff so far. But there’s more.

Moodle is continually being developed by the Moodle Team and we are producing some weird and wonderful add-ons.

You can also use Moodle to keep a blog (online diary) of your time at school, it has a built in calendar which will remind you about important dates and deadlines and provides you access to information from the student magazine and much more.

Lastly, Moodle is created for you, the student. So we welcome any suggestions on how to make it better and add more cool features.

We hope you enjoy using Moodle, although we know you will!

If you find that some of your courses are not showing or incorrect please inform your teacher who will be able to help.
